Messaging Terms
Last updated October 26, 2026
What happens after you tick the contact box on the Future Ventures Lab partner application: who gets in touch, how often, and how to stop it in one word.
01What you agreed to
When you submitted our partner application and ticked the contact box, you agreed that Future Ventures Lab can contact you about your application and about partnering with us. That can be by email, by phone, or by text message to the number you gave us.
Agreeing to texts is not a condition of applying or of becoming a partner.
02How often we message
Text messages are rare and they come from a person, not an automated system. Usually that means a few texts while we arrange a first call, and reminders before calls you have booked.
We do not sell or share your number, and nobody outside Future Ventures Lab sends you messages on our behalf.
03Stopping the messages
Reply STOP to any text and the texts end straight away. UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT do the same thing. You will get one confirmation and then nothing further.
You do not have to use a keyword. Replying in your own words, emailing hello@futureventureslab.com, or telling us on a call works just as well, and we will treat any of those as you withdrawing consent. Stopping texts does not stop email, so tell us if you want both to end.
04Cost and carriers
We do not charge for messages. Your carrier may apply its standard message and data rates. Delivery is not guaranteed: carriers occasionally filter or delay messages for reasons outside our control.
05Getting help
Reply HELP to any text, or email hello@futureventureslab.com and a person will answer. For what we store and why, see our Privacy Policy; for everything else, see our Terms of Service.
06Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
